Mr Stuart Sherman has been enjoying the practice of law since 1987. He earned a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 1981. He thereafter attended law school at Whittier College School of Law and received his Juris Doctor Degree. Mr. Sherman has had the pleasure representing individuals, their families, and friends, through many difficult times following a traumatic injury. Mr. Sherman has resolved many cases either through settlement or trial before a jury, judge, or arbitrator and has had a very high percentage of success.
Mr. Sherman prides himself on being PREPARED when taking settling or trying a case. This preparation includes his personal interaction with his clients in understanding their medical needs, loss of earnings, pain, and suffering, the taking of appropriate depositions or statements of witnesses, as well as personally researching new developments in the law. Mr. Sherman has family members in the medical profession which helps him in understanding the complex nature of medical terminology and relating such terminology in a clear in precise manner before the judge, arbitrator, or jury. Mr. Sherman is a firm believer that by being prepared at all stages of litigation, gives him the confidence, aggressiveness, and more importantly the believability in the cause, all of which enables him to attain the goal of recovering a fair and just amount for his clients.
In 2008, Mr. Sherman became and adjunct professor teaching Business Law at Pierce College in Woodland Hills. This subject encompassed a general understanding of various general areas of law including civil procedure, torts, and contracts.
